Brunette Kaiane Aldorino from Gibraltar has been crowned Miss World 2009. Aldorino was crowned at a glittering two-hour pageant in Johannesburg Saturday as silver confetti rained down onstage around her. Kaiane Aldorino’s excitement was clearly visible when her name was announced. Aldorino said she “had no words” to describe how she felt about her win, but that she was “really happy.”
Kaiane Aldorino won swimsuit competition, she was crowed favorite at that time. Miss Mexico, Perla Beltran Acosta was the first runner up with the second runner up Tatum Keshwar of South Africa.
