Bollywood actress and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra is appointed as Miss World 2009 judge. Priyanka left 2 days before to attend the 59th Miss World pageant in held on Dec 12, 2009 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Priyanka Chopra won Miss World back in 2000, then become a bollywood actress, a very famous celebrity. Priyanka said at her departure,

“When Julia Morley, who is in charge of the beauty pageant, invited me to be a judge, I was ecstatic. There I was a teenager all those years ago, nervous as a help on the same platform. Now I’m going in a totally different capacity.”
